The Position:

The Emirates Engineering Apprenticeship programme will be of Two Years duration and will include 1 year of on the job training within Emirates Engineering. At the end of this Apprenticeship programme successful students will be absorbed into Emirates Engineering as Junior Aircraft Mechanics.

The 12 modules covered under this Apprenticeship are as follows :

Maths, Physics, Basic Aerodynamics, Electrical Fundamentals, Digital Techniques, Materials and Hardware, Maintenance Practices.
Human Factors, Aviation Legislation, Aerodynamics, Structures and Systems, Gas Turbine Engines and Propellers.

Experience and Qualifications:

Minimum 10 years of schooling ('O' Levels or Equivalent)
Applicants must have the legal right to live in the U.A.E (Should be on residence visa preferable sponsored by their parents).
Sound English communication skills ( verbal as well as written)
Applicants should have secured good grades in Mathematics and Physics.
A positive attitude and desire to pursue a career in an Engineering operational environment.
Willingness to work on shift and in a pressured environment.
